Engagement
What it costs, before you ask.
Most studios make you sit through two calls before naming a number. We would rather you knew roughly where this lands now, and decided whether to spend the hour.
Ranges are indicative and hold for about ninety percent of what we take on. Retainers and multi-year work are quoted separately.
How the money is staged
Fixed fee · three invoices
Free, forty-five minutes, and we will tell you on the call if we think you need something other than a studio. About one in five of these ends with a recommendation and no proposal.
A fixed number, not a day rate. It includes the arguing, the revisions and the handover. If the scope genuinely changes we reprice in writing before continuing, never after.
A third to begin, which books the slot. We work on two projects at a time, so the slot is real rather than a pressure tactic.
A third at the point the direction is signed off — usually the end of week five or six.
The final third on delivery, with files, guidelines and a working session for whoever inherits it. We stay reachable afterwards without putting you on a retainer.
